Marcy's Dad came to London right after Christmas and we stopped off to tour Normandy on our way to celebrate New Year's eve in Berlin. The large photo is the town of Arromanches where the Allies built an artificial harbor to offload cargo during the invasion. The bottom photo is the remnants of the craters from the shelling at Pointe du Hoc. The top photo is the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach.
